A balanced network.
TPN’s success in building and operating a unified network is based on maintaining the delicate balance between both American/European concerns and political and business interests.
This balance is secured by an organizational structure that:
- Balances both American and European concerns by way of the TPN Board of Directors being balanced geographically, but with no political or business participants. To help ensure their integrity as politicians, political members are excluded from being Members of the TPN Board.
- Balances all political and business participants to take part in contributing to TPN events through participation and in helping to shape our activities through the TPN Programming Committee.
- Encourages regular contact between political and business participants to assess priorities for the Network to undertake, not least for the preparation of Transatlantic Week.
