Balance is all.

TPN’s success in building and operating a unified network is based on maintaining the delicate balance between both political and business interests and American/European concerns.

This balance is secured by an organizational structure that:

  • Balances political and business interests by way of Advisory Steering Committees in the United States and the European Union, chaired by politicians. This helps to encourage both broad political participation and the close involvement of public administrations, as well as the vital input of business.
  • Balances both American and European concerns by way of the TPN Board of Directors, which links the two steering committees.
  • Balances all political and business participants to take part in the running of TPN through participation and in helping to shape our activities.
